CHRISTOPHER FLEISCHMAN

Our General Manager, Chris Fleischman, first met Chef Ryan Lachaine while they were working together at Stella Sola in 2008. Many Stella Sola alumni have moved on to run their own restaurants around town. He left town in 2010 after graduating from the University of Houston's Conrad N. Hilton College for a position at The Fairmont Dallas. Chris returned to Houston in 2012 and held a couple beverage manager positions, even worked with a wine distributor for almost 2 years. He returned to operations as the opening General Manager of Pax Americana. He was most recently back on the corporate side of things with The Palm restaurant group, an institution in most respects. When Chef Lachaine let Chris know he was opening Riel. Fleischman jumped at the chance to be involved with a creative, Chef driven, neighborhood concept.
